Biography

Dahlang Tahir holds a degree in Radiation Physics from the Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), Makassar, Indonesia (1997), a Master degree in gate oxide material from Institute Technology of Bandung (ITB), Indonesia (2000). He received Brain Korea scholarship (BK21) from Korean Government to take a PhD program in Chungbuk National University (CBNU) (2007-2010). His PhD thesis was Electronic and Optical Properties of Gate Oxide and Transparent Conductive Oxide Materials. He was postdoc in Southern Denmark University (2011) working with Sven Tougaard. He was appointed as a Professor in Material Physics in 2014. His research activities included nanocomposite material for food packaging (bioplastics), for medical physics (phantom and shielding), and for environment (Energy, photocatalyst and adsorbent heavy metals). He is currently director of publication management centre at UNHAS.
